Intended for an early straight-wing six-engine XB-52 concept, the XT35 was a turboprop with a 3-stage centrifugal compressor and 3-stage axial turbine. It was rated at 6,090 eshp at 7,080 rpm and weighed 5,950 lb (2,699 kg). Ultimately a swept-wing XB-52 with turbojet power was selected, leaving no application for the XT35.
