Packard 1A-2775

Intended for Schneider Trophy racing, the X-24 water-cooled 1A-2775 was essentially two Packard Model 1500s sharing the same crankcase. It set an unofficial speed record in of 322 mph in 1927. However the Navy withdrew support before it could be raced. The 1A-2775 displaced 2,775 inĀ³ (45.5l), weighed 1,667 lb (761 kg), and produced 1,300 hp at 2,700 rpm.
