Ameritech Industries, Inc. of Redding, California was founded in 1976 and is owned by Kerry and Kathleen Dawes. The firm offers a large range of overhaul and remanufacturing services on aircraft engines and propellers through their Eagle Engines and American Propeller Service subsidiaries, respectively. They are very active now in providing uncertificated versions of the Lycoming O-360 and O-540 engines to experimental aircraft homebuilders. The firm is an Authorized Millenium Engine Builder through an agreement with Superior Air Parts. They sell Superior SL-360 engine kits (KP4/05) and also custom build Superior XP-360 and XP-360 Plus engines. The Plus denotes that the engine uses the Superior "roller lifter" technology. In addition to their work with Superior, they offer their own brand Eagle XTREEM 360, Eagle XTREEM 360 Plus, Eagle XTREEM 540, and Eagle XTREEM 540 Plus custom built engines (KP4/05).
