"The Fate of Nazi Germany's Jet Engineers" by Reiner Decher (member AEHS) will be out in September (ISBN 9781036111007). Interested readers are welcome to contact the author at <reiner54@gmail.com> with commenst or questions.

It is the story of how American management of the the capture of the German engineers in May 1945 led to their contributions to American and French industries during the Cold War and specifically to the abduction of thousands of engineers and their families to the Soviet Union where they developed the engine for the TU-95 bomber and tried (in vain) to get East Germany into the jet airliner building business.
