Everyone has probably seen Kim McCutcheon's excellent "Early Engines:" compilations on the AEHS front page. I enjoy 3D CAD Modeling Vintage, Full size and Miniature engines as a hobby. The IRWIN M-72 & M-79 Meteormotor compilation immediately caught my attention as a model candidate. Unfortunately, the only drawings of Irwin's engine I have found are the M-72 Patent drawings and very poor front view drawing of the M-79. I have scoured the internet and reviewed books at the library that were not available online and turned up zero drawings.
Seeking help and information from Members or individuals that may have in their possession or know the location of an Irwin engine or any drawings, photographs or manuals that could help me with this project.
