I received an email from Antonio Maestrini on June 2, 2021, informing me that my friend, AEHS member, and frequent contributor, Sergio Pasquali, died unexpectedly on Friday evening, May 29, 2021, in Italy. Sergio has animated dozens of subjects for the AEHS and shared his animation work freely as well his aviation poster collection. If single-rotation powerplants like the Napier Sabre, JUMO 205, and R-4360 weren't complicated enough, Sergio took on the Siemens-Halske Sh3, BMW 803A, Fiat AS8, and de Havilland contra-rotating propeller system. His work simplified the complicated and revealed the dynamic art that is mechanical movement. Thank you, Sergio Tom Fey
