Hello all, just wanted to share a new project.

EAA Chapter 677 has received a Jacobs R-755-9 from the Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB and the engine has made the trip uneventfully. As we begin the inspection of the engine, engine mount, accessories and major component, I'll be adding plenty of photos of what we find.

Currently the plan is to begin disassembly to see the condition of the internal components, clean and inspect as we go. We are going to be doing repainting of some of the components and get this engine looking as nice as possible for the museum. Best case scenario, we want the engine to be able to turnover and be as original as possible. I'll be adding photos and updates as they happen.

Hello all,
Here's an update on the restoration EAA Chapter 677 is doing for the Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB.

I am currently looking for any service or overhaul tools to complete this project. Additionally, if anyone has access to part or tool drawings, that would be incredibly helpful. I'll be getting additional photos added at some point.
